Hidden snowflake......

The pattern suggests using two colours, one for the snowflake and one for the surround. I quite like the  fact that the snowflake is hidden in the square however:

Simple, simple, simple.....

After a long, busy and stressful day I couldn't wait to get home and pick up my crochet hook. However my brain couldn't cope with anything more than a basic square this evening:

Caged Flower......

It's amazing what you can find on Pinterest. This square popped up on my news feed today:
