Keeping warm.....

I've just returned from 4 days camping in a very cold and snowy Peak District, and once again find myself behind with my posts. The unexpected cold necessitated an extra blanket and mini hot water bottle! So today's "square" is a cover for this mini hot water bottle made up of a number of small granny squares:

Each side is made up of 6 small squares joined together with double crochets in a contrasting colour. The neck was pretty tricky as the rounds of double crochets have been worked close to the rubber bottle, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. I just hope future camping trips involve positive temperatures and I don't need to use it again this year!!
